These birds are native to the eastern Himalayas and live in dense forests, bamboo thickets and scrub.
White-spotted laughingthrush are omnivores with a diet consisting of insects, worms, berries, seeds and fruit.
The white-spotted laughingthrush is classified as Least Concern on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List.
Even though these are least concern, there is still a threat of habitat loss.
