The collared finch-billed bulbul is a medium-sized songbird with a striking blue head, olive-green body, white streaks on their cheeks and a contrasting white collar around its neck.

The collared finch-billed bulbul are common in Asia, and either flock together in groups or form monogamous pairs. During breeding season, males are very vocal to attract a mate, usually resulting in the females laying 3-5 eggs that are incubated for two weeks.
Common finch-billed bulbuls have few threats, and are listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List
