Easter Competition TERMS & CONDITIONS | Newquay Zoo

Libéma Zoo NQ Operations Ltd (‘Newquay Zoo’) is an associated company of Libéma Exploitatie B.V. (‘Libéma’).

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Newquay Zoo 2026 Easter competition and prizes.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The most up-to-date version will always be available on our website.

What are the T&Cs for the 2026 Easter Competition?

The Newquay Zoo Easter competition prize draw includes the following prizes

X1 animal experience worth £95

X1 XL penguin plushie

X1 Penguin mug

X1 Penguin plushie keyring

X1 Coin purse

To enter, entrants must correctly locate the gold egg hidden in Newquay Zoo, and correctly inform a member of the Front of House or Gift Shop team of its location. Entry is via a QR code and online website data form. You may only submit one entry to be considered during the full duration of the competition. Multiple entries from one person will not be considered and will count as one entry.

Competition entry opens on Saturday 3rd April 2026 and closes Sunday 19th April 2026.

Five separate winners who have correctly located the Golden Yolk egg as part of the Easter trail will be selected at random the week commencing Monday 20th April. Further contact to arrange the collection of each prize will be carried out via phone or email. The competition is owned by Libema Zoo NQ Operations Ltd.

It is the responsibility of each individual entrant to ensure that they have read and obeyed the competition rules. Any entry found not to comply with the competition rules will not be considered. By entering this competition, each individual entrant agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined on this page, as well as Libema Zoo NQ Operations Ltd general entry terms.

Employees of Paignton Zoo, Newquay Zoo or Libema may not enter this competition. No third party or automated entries are permitted.

No alternative prizes will be offered and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative. If the winner of the animal experience does not meet the criteria of the offered experience, this prize can be transferred once to a suitable family member.

Newquay Zoo reserves the right to amend, extend or terminate this competition at any time without incurring liability. We will not be responsible, unless required by law, for any loss, changes, costs or expenses, which may arise in connection with this competition.

Data protection

By entering this competition, each individual entrant agrees that, if they win, the Promoter may use their name to announce as the winner of this a competition. This prize draw is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any other platforms in any way.

By entering the competition, individual entrants agree that any personal information provided by you with your competition entry may be held and used by Libema Zoo NQ Operations Ltd for marketing communications purposes and for the purpose of administering the competition and the prize. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

What are the terms for the experience prize?

The animal experience prize worth up to £95 must be used within one year of receiving the prize, and must be booked at least one week in advance.

Cancellations or changes within seven days are subject to a £10 administration fee.

Minimum age restrictions apply depending on the experience.

Visitors must:

  • Arrive on time

  • Wear suitable clothing

  • Follow all staff instructions

Experiences take place in working environments and may be cancelled at short notice due to operational, animal welfare or safety reasons.

If cancelled by Newquay Zoo, you will be contacted and offered an alternative date.

Which law applies?

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
